Milk Carton Derby Southwest Corner of Seattle's Green Lake Seattle, WA URL: www.seafair.com/x355.asp Children and families race against corporations and the military in the Milk Carton Derby, a colorful, made from at least 50 half-gallon milk cartons each. The object is to get the cross 1200 feet of water to the finish line, an objective not always achieved. Each milk carton only supports about four pounds of weight so folks start collecting milk cartons months in advance of the event |
